Welcome to the online English lesson

In deze online les:

Staat je camera de hele les aan, zo niet word je absent gemeld

* to recapitulate what you have to do in the Cambridge speaking exam as a whole

* to practise part 2

But first some info on the Cambridge exam itself and what will be done in the coming weeks and months

Speaking Exercise -

*Now have a look at Cambridge English: Advanced Speaking part 2 long turn - student's worksheet  and do exercise 1 (do not do question 2)- I will ask random students for the answers

* Next turn the page (go to a page that says 1 special clothes and 2 pointing at things) and look at the instruction of the task. What is it you need to do?

 

* In the next slide give me two words that reflect what you need to do in this part 2

* Turn the page again and go to the page that says 3 special clothes and 4 pointing at things at the top. What would you fill in for a).... and what for b).... to complete the question?

* Now that you have done all this, I'll put you in breakout rooms for 5 minutes. Student A will discuss the first 3 pictures for 1 minute, Student B will respond for 30 seconds and then the roles will reverse for the second set of pictures. 

* Think about speculation and the magic words; while and whereas!
