Quick start: OREO opinion writing

-Opinion:

Tell your readers how you feel about something:

“I love ice cream”

-Reason:

Tell your readers why you feel that way:

“… because it is delicious”

-Evidence:

Give your readers examples:

“… It comes in different flavours and it is very sweet.”

-Opinion:

Summarize your opinion:

“Ice cream is very delicious, because it is sweet and it has a lot of flavours.”

How to write a review

-Make sure you know exactly what the movie/series is about

Write down your opinion

-Think of positive and negative things about the movie.  
Focus on one. You are to persuade others! 

-Give a recommendation:

“I recommend this movie, because the actors played their roles very well and the plot is surprising.”
