Confusing work pairs
1. It's vs its: it's is a contraction of it is (it's late), its is used to implicate possession (The dog wagged its tail) 

2. loose vs lose: loose is usually an adjective (bijvoeglijk naamwoord: The cows were loose), lose is a verb (Werkwoord: He lost the game)

3.than vs then: than is used for comparisons (This book is funnier than that one), then is used to indicate time or sequence (First John had arrived, then Mary walked in)

5. to vs too: to is a preposition (We are going to France), it is also used with full verbs (He wants us to listen), too is another word for also (They will visit them too) 

6. who's vs whose: who's means who is (Who's that girl he's talking to?), whose indicates possession (The girl whose dad is over there is my niece)

9. every day vs everyday: every day means each day (He goes to the gym every day), everyday means common (It is an everyday experience)
