Use "chunks": 

when you don't know a word/ can't remember what it's called, describe it!

- what does it look like (it looks like a(n) . . .

- what does it belong to (it's a type of . . . animal/ kitchen appliance)

- what is it used for (you can use it to/ for . . .)

- where can you find it (it can can be found in/by/ near . . . )

Practice tips pt. 3

Don't be afraid to make mistakes! 

Try to talk as much as possible; you learn by practising it!

And most importantly...

NEVER switch to Dutch!

Instructions:

• Sit next to someone/work in pairs
• You have 4 minutes to talk to your workmate; after that, you switch!
• Throw the dice twice to determine the question.
•  Don't forget the tips!
