Write an explanation for the word rearranging

Consider the expression 2x + 3y + 4x + 5y.

The word REARRANGING describes the method whereby the various terms in the expression are repositioned i.e.

2x + 4x + 3y + 5y

The word SCALING refers to an action whereby some original value is increased by multiplying it by a value  greater than 1 or decreased  by multiplying it by a value less than 1.
