Listen to Welcome to Woodlands Academy. Answer the questions.

1. First read the questions so you know what to listen for

Possessive pronouns 

Bezittelijke voornaamwoorden

Wanneer?

Bezittelijke voornaamwoorden gebruik je om aan te geven dat iets van jou of van iemand anders is.

Voor (bijna) alle personen zijn in het Engels twee bezittelijke voornaamwoorden beschikbaar.

De eerste vorm (my, etc.) wordt bijvoeglijk gebruikt, dus voor een zelfstandig naamwoord:

This is my car.

De tweede vorm (mine, etc.) wordt zelfstandig gebruikt:

This car is mine.

Example

She's my friend.

Is that her house?

This was our idea.

She's a friend of mine.

Are both red cars yours?

I'm a colleague of theirs.
