- Recognize forms of the future tense.

- You can use the forms of the future tense.

3 forms

These are the three forms you should know:

1. to be going to + infinitive (=hele ww)
2. will + infinitive (=hele ww)
3. present simple

Present Simple ww / ww+(e)s

Gebruik je bij vaste roosters of tijdschema's (openingstijden, openbaar vervoer, schoolroosters)

Times according to a schedule/timetables:

• The stores close at six.
• The plane leaves in ten minutes.
• Mr. Keijzer's lesson starts in one hour.

to be (am, is, are)+ going to + infinitive

Gebruik je voor gemaakte plannen in de toekomst en voorspellingen met bewijs

• I am going to visit aunt Betsy tomorrow.
• We are going to the cinema next week.
• He is going to order a pizza tonight.
• It is going to rain. look at those dark clouds.

Will + infinitive (=hele ww)

Gebruik je om iets aan te bieden, te beloven of bij voorspellingen zonder bewijs

• Offer: I will help you with your homework.
  
• Promise: I will pick  you up, I promise!
• Prediction: I think our team will win the match.
