Mastering the Present Simple: Practice and Presentation

At the end of the lesson, you will be able to understand and use the present simple tense correctly in sentences.

Understanding the Present Simple

The present simple is used to describe general truths, habits, routines, and regular actions. It is formed with the base form of the verb.

Forming the Present Simple

For most verbs, we simply add 's' or 'es' to the base form in the third person singular (he, she, it). Negative and question forms use 'do' or 'does'.

Presenting the Present Simple

Prepare a short presentation where you explain the present simple to the class using your own examples and sentences.

Each student will take turns presenting their sentences and explanations of the present simple to the class.
