Cause and effect
1. Japan is in need of resources (oil, iron, etc.)
2. Pearl Harbor was attacked
3. Japan wants to expand even more without resistance
4. Germany and Italy form the Triparte Act with Japan

A. USA is now drawn into the Second World War
B. USA loses 3 ships, 16 ships are heavily damaged and over 2000 people die
C. Japan starts expanding towards China and overseas
D. Japan attacks Pearl Harbor
