Tag questions 

Wat zijn dat? Korte vragen aan het einde van een zin. We vragen hiermee of iets wat we zeggen klopt of niet.

In het Nederlands zeg je vaak: 'toch?'

You are Dave, aren't you?

She is your sister, isn't she?

Als de zin bij de start ontkennend is, is het einde bevestigend. 

Dit werkt ook andersom.
