What on earth is an essay?!

An essay is a piece of writing that has 5 paragraphs. In this piece of writing (usually around a page) you have an opinion about something and you try to prove your point by coming up with evidence and examples. I am going to teach you the basic essay structure. We are also going to focus on grammar, word choice ,spelling and punctuation.
