blood pressure= The pressure put on the walls of your arteries by the blood.

Blood pressure is the highest in the arteries and the lowest in the veins

Blood pressure is influenced by
 - thicker blood
- high salt intake ( promotes water retention and creates extra fluid in the blood)
- stress:  hormones (like epinephrin) stimulates the muscles around the arteries to constrict so the arteries become narrow
