so sorry I'm not here for your first physical English class in months! Today you're going to work on language focus 1 of unit 5 (p.55). Please work through the lesson-up during the lesson, and do the tasks mentioned. Good luck!

At the end of this lesson you can:

- Use will/won't and may/might to make predictions and statements about the future. 

MUST/ MUSN'T ARE MODAL VERBS. 

What are modal verbs?

Modal verbs are auxiliary verbs (also called helping verbs) like can, will, could, shall, must, would, might, and should. ... 

Modal verbs add meaning to the main verb in a sentence by expressing possibility, ability, permission, or obligation. 

The next slide is a video about will/won't.

 While watching, make sure to take notes.

For each question, choose if you have to use will/won't or may/might. Think about what you learned from the last video. Fill in the missing word

For each sentence ask yourself, is this:

impossible = not going to happen, ever > won't

probable= this is very likely to happen > will

possible = there is a chance > may/ might

fact= definitely going to happen > will
