Queen Elizabeth II is also the Sovereign of 15 countries in the Commonwealth of Nations: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Grenada, Jamaica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Solomon Islands, and Tuvalu.

Diana, the Princess of Wales

Princess Diana was an iconic figure of the late 20th Century. People admired her for her charity work; in particular her work with AIDS patients. She married Prince Charles in 1981, and she received the title of “Her Royal Highness Princess Diana of Wales”.

In 1981, Diana married Prince Charles. Diana was 20, and Charles was 33 at the time. Over 1 billion people worldwide watched the wedding. During their marriage they had two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
