- Om te zeggen dat iets nu aan de gang is.

Hoe maak je de present continuous?

Spelling verandert.

- bij werkwoorden die eindigen op -e (zoals 'bake') gaat de 'e' weg.

Vb. My mum is baking a pie.

- Bij werkwoorden van 1 lettergreep, met een korte klinker (a,e,o,u,i), zoals stop, sit, run. Daar word de medeklinker verdubbelt.
