How do you change an active sentence to a passive one?
Je maakt de passive door de juiste vorm van ‘to be’ + het voltooid deelwoord te gebruiken. Het voltooid deelwoord is dus ww+ed, of het 3e rijtje van een onregelmatige werkwoord.

    Step 1
: Ask yourself if the sentence is written in the present tense or the past tense.
    Present> choose is / are / am /being / been
    Past> choose was / were / being /
Step 2: Get rid of the subject in the sentence and add the verb of 'to be' (from step 1) to the verb written in the active sentence.

Ex: Mike walked the dog yesterday.  (past tense)
           The dog was walked yesterday.

Stap 1: Zet het lijdend voorwerp vooraan de zin. (persoonsvorm + ww?= lv)
Stap 2: Vraag jezelf af in welke tijd de zin staat.
Tegenwoordige tijd? kies dan > is / are / am /
Verleden tijd? kies dan was / were
Stap 3:  verander het werkwoord naar voltooid deelwoord. Dus 'I have ............'

Let's try: I build houses during the week.
