  • Correctly explain and practice with the future will/shall;
  • Correctly use and practice with possessive adjectives.

  • Will/shall + infinitive (hele werkwoord)
  • Example: I will be there!
  • It will be done tomorrow!

Question sentence with "I" or "We"? Use shall!
  • Example: Shall we go to the park? 
  • Shall I start?

Negative or affirmative (bevestigende) sentence using "I" or "We"? You are allowed to use shall.
  • Example: I shall start.
  • We shall start tomorrow.
  • I shan't do that tomorrow.
  • We shan't start tomorrow.
  • NOTE: you do not HAVE to use shall/shan't in these sentences. You are also allowed to use will/won't.

Possessive adjectives always have a noun (voornaamwoord) following:
  • For example:
  • That is my cat. -> "my" is the possessive adjective, because "cat" is a noun
  • Possessive pronouns do have a noun following:
  • That cat is mine. -> "mine" is a possessive pronoun
