When we read, not only are we improving memory and empathy, but research has shown that it makes us feel better and more positive too. Science has shown that reading has some amazing health benefits, including helping with depression, cutting stress, and reducing the chances of developing Alzheimer’s later in life.

Voor biologie moet je een werkstuk maken over klimaatverandering. Je hebt op een internet een tekst gevonden over het klimaat. Je wilt weten of je de tekst kunt gebruiken.

Situatie 3: 

Je hebt morgen een toets over politieke besluitvormingen. Je leest de tekst in je boek maatschappijleer.

Situatie 4:

Je wilt een pretpark bezoeken en bent benieuwd naar de prijzen. Je bezoek de website van het pretpark.

1. Read headline, look at pictures - what do you think the text is about?
2. What kind of text is it? - letter, advert, article, serious, funny?

4. How do you tackle this kind of question?  Read everything, look for specific information?
5. Read (part of) the text.
6. Choose or write answer.
