Present Perfect Continuous 

- Something happened in the past and still continues in the present / or still has an effect (focus on the activity )

E.g.: I have been studying English for five years (5 years and still continues + focus on studying). 

- to express irritation:

E.g.: I have been waiting for your reply for over a week!

- for the words 'recently' en 'lately':

E.g.: Recently, I have been feeling sick.
