To give additional information about a thing, person or animal you can also use an adjective. The adjective comes in front of the person/ thing/ animal.

  • He watched a funny film.
  • They bought a lovely dress.
  • We had a good time.

Sometimes you put the adjective after the verb. Then you give additional information about the subject of the sentence.
