Steps in designing
  1. Identifying a need an establishing a design brief
  2. Researching the design brief and developing a specification
  3. Generating and exploring design ideas
  4. Developing a proposed solution
  5. Planning for production
  6. Product realisation
  7. Testing and evaluation

Slide 2 - Diapositive

Step 5
After choosing your proposed solution (which in our case will be task 6), you have to think about how you want to make the product:

You always need to check the sizes afterwards.

Fixing and joining techniques
When making a product, the different parts need to be joined together. This can be done in two ways:

- permanently (e.g. glue, nails, screws)
- non-permanently (e.g. velcro, zipper, laces, paperclip)
