What is a problem page? (Agony Aunt)

The part of a magazine or newspaper where letters from readers about their personal problems are published, together with advice about how to deal with them.

Sometimes also know as an Agony Aunt.

Why advice?

- Often comes back in exercises, tests and exams

- Both formal and informal

- Useful sentences for you to use

Asking advice

Formal:

- I was wondering if you could give me some advice.

- What would you recommend me to do?

Asking advice

Informal:

- What do you suggest?

Giving advice

Formal:

How to respond
