History

Kenya was part of the British Empire  from 1895 until 1963.

Kenya is famous for its landscapes and wildlife. 

The British used the Kenyan ground for their tea plantations. 

Literature

Kenya is also well known for its fables and legends. 

A long time ago people live very close to nature and they made up stories for entertainment and tradition. One of these fables is about how the zebra got its stripes.

Kenya has 70 different tribes. Kenya is a culturally and ethnically diverse country. It is also a big tourist attraction. The large set of cultures and traditions makes Kenya unique .
