Learning Objective

At the end of the lesson, you will be able to present what you have learnt from a documentary of your choice by either a group presentation or a recorded vlog.

Choosing Your Documentary

• Choose a documentary that interests you and your group. Make sure it's appropriate for the classroom and that you have access to it.
• The documentary should be around 10 minutes long.

Provide a list of documentaries that students can choose from or allow them to choose their own. Set guidelines for appropriate content and accessibility.

Group Presentation

• Include an introduction, summary of the main points of the documentary, what you have learnt, and your personal opinion.
• 3 to 4 students. Each student should speak at least 1,5 minutes.

Provide a template for students to use when creating their outline. Remind them to keep it concise and organized.

Using Visual Aids

Use visual aids such as images or videos to enhance your presentation. Make sure they are appropriate and relevant to your topic.

Provide resources for students to find visual aids such as websites or databases with free images or videos.

Body Language and Eye Contact

Use confident body language and make eye contact with your audience. Speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard.
