The information hunt
1. What is the difference between a primary need and a secondary need?
2. What is the difference between a good and a service?
3. What is the difference between a free good and a scarce good?
4. Name a free good that fulfills a primary need.
5. Name a scarce good that fulfills a secondary need.
6. Name a service that fulfills a primary need
7. "I need to eat, so I can choose to make a sandwich or I can buy one."
Name the two different resources which can fulfill my need for food, but can also be used for alternative uses.

Primary need: things a human need in order to survive.
Like water, shelter and food.

Secondary need: to make life better / more enjoyable.
Scarce good: money and/or time had been put into it. 
Clothing (shoes too) is a primary need. Yet the newest, most expensive sneakers are a secondary need. 
Free good: it is freely available and no resources are needed.

Our needs > our resources
So we make choices--> What is your 'priority?'

In this case our resource time is alternatively applicable --> 
it can be used in multiple ways (it has alternative uses).

Guess the mistakes: 
My money can be alternative uses.

A free good is always a primary need.
My shoes are scarcity, because time and money are put into making my shoes. 

I can eat food once, so it is a consumable service.

Foods are tangible, so foods are a good.
A restaurant provides goods.
To the dentist going is making use of a service. 

I growed my own tomatoes, which is an example of self-sufficiency. 
I priority playing sports over playing video games.

Guess the mistakes: answers
My money has alternative uses.

A free good is not always a primary need.
My shoes are scarce, because time and money is put into making my shoes.

I can eat food once, so it is a consumable good. 

Food is tangible, so food is a good.
A restaurant provides goods and a service.
Going to the dentist is making use of a service.

I grow/grew my own tomatoes, which is an example of self-sufficiency. 
I prioritise playing sports over playing video games.

Step 2: Write down 1-5 on a paper.
