English exams

Lesson goals

• Discuss the planning of the exams
• Discuss the types of exams you'll be getting
• Discuss the content of the lesson for each exam 

The exams

The following exams that you're going to take is: 

• CE Reading and listening (B1) 
• Writing exam (A2)
• Speaking and Conversation exam (A2) 

Exam rules

Each exam will be done via TOA. 

This mean that a lot of the lesson is going to be generic English. 

How to pass?

• You pass the exam if you can complete all the tasks (opdracht) and execute them accurately. If you missed or didn't complete one task, you can still pass the exam. However, more than one incomplete task will be considered as an automatic fail. 
• Practice your skills as often as possible.

The English reading and listening lesson content will focus on:

• NATO Alphabet and its history (Recap) 
• Radio telephony 
• FAA regulations (reading comprehension and interpretation)  

Reading comprehension assignment

All of you will receive a reading comprehension assignment related to the Drone technology and advancement. 

Read the short article about the Partnership to develop sUAS for NATO Special Forces Project and answer the questions in the assignment correctly.
