Tag questions
Zijn een manier om een korte geplakte vraag te maken om iets te bevestigen wat je weet maar niet helemaal zeker van bent.  

She is John's sister, isn't she?

'isn't she' is the tag question

What do you notice?

If the main sentence is positive, the tag question is negative
Jeff is your neighbour, isn't he? 

If the main sentence in negative, the tag question is positive
I am not good at maths, am I ?

Use a personal pronoun (persoonlijk voornaamwoord)

Sally is a swimmer, isn't she?
Jeff isn't a teacher, is he? 
Football is a game, isn't it?

Met 'I' krijg je in een negatieve tag question een onregelmatige persoonsvorm van 'to be'

Hulpwerkwoorden
Zoals: 'to be',  'has got/have got', 
Herbruik je het hulpwerkwoord in de 'tag question'

It is Tom's birthday today, isn't it? 
Simon has got a cat, hasn't he? 
John hasn't got any money, has he?

Remember: With She/He/it we use does not do
