Present Simple

1. Habits, regular actions or situations
   
2. Facts, permanent situations or states
   
3. Future timetabled events

Signal words: always, never, sometimes, often, every day

Examples:

Present Continuous

1. Actions in progress "now"/"around now"
   
2.  Temporary actions or situations
   
3. Future actions that are decided
