Woorden in het Engels kunnen (bijna) hetzelfde uitgesproken worden, maar een hele andere betekenis hebben:

they’re (they are)= zij zijn 

their = hun 

there = daar / er 

                                                                        you’re (you are) = jij bent / u bent / jullie zijn 

                                                                         your = jouw / uw 

to = om te / naar          (I love to have../ I go to school)

too= ook / te                  (I want cookies too!!! / That is too much!)

two = twee
