Ask students to write down what the first thing is that comes to mind when they think of 'love'. 

In a heartbeat

I’d go live in a small house in the country in a heartbeat’. 

‘In a heartbeat’ means to do something quickly or instantly without thinking about it '.

Watch the trailer, what do you think the short movie is about?

In pairs, write down in a few sentences on what you think the short movie is about/what will happen.

Whilst watching, think about how your prediction compares to the actual short movie.

In what way was it the same or different?

When watching the second time think about the following questions: 

-How is the red-haired boy feeling at the beginning of the movie?

-What is his heart telling him to do? Why is he afraid to do this?

-Did the boy’s fear become reality? Why/why not?

Writing down your opinion 

Use sentence starters like: 

- In my opinion....

- I feel ....

- I believe ....

Then state your reasons, for example:

I believe that love is different for everybody because every person has a different personality and has different feelings.
