How do a man's reproductive organs work?

The testicles produce sperm cells from puberty.

Stored in the epididymis.

50-70 million sperm cells per day

1. Erectile tissue: fills with blood during sexual arousal, resulting in an erection.

2. Urethra: excretes urine.

3. Glans: contains many nerve endings and is therefore very sensitive.

4. Foreskin: covers the glans and protects it from friction and dirt.

5. Urinary bladder: storage of urine

6. Seminal vesicles: gives fluid to the sperm cells.

7. Prostate: adds fluid and nutrients to sperm cells. (fluid + sperm cells is semen)

8. Sperm ducts: transport sperm cells.

9. Epididymis: storage of sperm cells.

10. Testes: produces sperm cells.

11. Scrotum: the temperature is lower than in the abdominal cavity. This is favorable for the sperm cells.

• The clitoris (sexual stimuli) is located at the front, between the inner labia.
  
• Fluid is released through the wall of the inner labia during sexual arousal.
