    By this day you will have a good idea about the profile and subjects you want to choose within that profile. You're going to check if this profile suits: 
    • My profile, my capabilities?
    • My profile, my ambitions?
    • My profile, my interests?
    At the end of the check, prepare questions for upper grade teachers to ask them about their subject so you will be absolutely sure about your profile choices. 
    Choosing
    Today you'll work on your presentation. Tomorrow you will present to your class and your parents:
    • What profile and subjects you want to do
    • Why does this profile suit you
    • What can you do with this profile in the future
    • What you've learned this week
    Presenting
    Present powerpoint to a few classmates and mentor (and your parents). Parents will be attending online.

    This presentation will also be shared with your teachers before the ILP

    ONLINE
    During this online event the career counsellors will explain the 'profielen' and what you can do with them, to you and your parents through teams.  

    The first part will be in Dutch. At the end, there will be a breakout room for students and parents that would like to participate in an English follow-up talk (NT2 explanation). 
    Ask the teacher

    Through teams you (and your parents) can ask upper grade teachers about a particular subject in the upper grades. 

    Beforehand, check the information websites and make sure you've prepared your questions.

    Today's assignment
    We are going to create a mindmap about who you are based on the booklet you've done in the previous mentor lessons and the workshop that you'll follow today.

    Based on chapter 2. Write down the 'persoonstype' you are.

    LEAVE THE WHITE SPACE OPEN (these will be filled during the workshop)

    In the workshop we will dig deeper int the different 'persoonlijkheidstypen'
    Check chapter 3 from the booklet. What are your talents?

    Wanna see more talents? Check this list of 57 talents (Dutch)
    What hobbies do you have? What thing interest you? What values do you find important?

    Write some of them down here
    What do you want to do when you grow up? What do you find important in a job? What drives you? 

    You can do the 'drijfverentest' here
    This will be done during the workshop, leave it open
    ASSIGNMENT
    Now let's get started!
    Start preparing your poster. Click on the eyes to see what you have to do in each slice of the mindmap. 

    Start wit the centre. 
    You don't have to be done by the time we go to the workshop however by tomorrow you poster has to be completely done!
    Write your name here in the centre of the mindmap. You may also add a picture of yourself!

    WORKSHOP TIME
    Take your poster and a pen. Leave the rest (including your phone) in the classroom. 

    Read your table number on the back of your poster. 
    Go to the auditorium to your table!

    Finish your poster. Check the (+) buttons to read the extra instructions 
    • Update all slices
    • Add pictures in the outer rim 
    Homework:
    Let your parents see your poster and discuss it. Maybe they want to add stuff. Make sure your parents sign the back of your poster before tomorrow. 

    Write your name here in the centre of the mindmap. You may also add a picture of yourself!

    In the study area there is a box with old folders. You may use them to cut out pictures from!
    Look at your 'persoonstypes'. Find some nice pictures who express these types. 

    If you want to print pictures send them from your phone to this site. Once you've logged in with your school account you can send your pictures to the printer. With your schoolpass you then get them out of the printer. 
    Add some nice pictures of you and your interests. You can use magazines (they can be found in the study area) or print them.
