Your class will be welcomed by our team. We'll show you where you can leave your bags, have a snack, and tell you more about what you can see and do at the museum. Listen carefully to the team - they will help you get the most out of your visit!

What will I see at the museum?
You will see lots of facinating historic buildings. Some are over 200 years old! Inside , you'll see real historical objects that people who lived in buildings like these would have used for everyday tasks. There are real fires in many of the fireplaces in our houses, so please be careful to stay at a safe distance.

They'll be happy to answer your questions! You might also meet other visitors and school groups. Please be respectful of all other visitors, and make sure to stay with your own group.

This might be your whole class if you're doing a workshop, or smaller groups if you are going around with your teachers and leaders. This helps makes sure that everyone can get around the site safely.
