1. Find an appropriate YouTube video that I like together with my partner - 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  2. De tekst voor mijn presentatie is ongeveer 60 woorden.

  1. The title of my video is, "Trump Anthem".
  2. This video has had 3,9 (Three million, nine hundred thousand views).
  3. Our video is about a bad lip reading of American president singing the American national anthem.

  4. Trump puts his hand on his chest and begins singing the national anthem. He is mumbling because he doesn't know the words. He's also swaying from side-to-side. Towards the end, when he doesn't know the words, he just smiles. He looks really silly.
  5. I really like this video because it makes Trump look silly and it's funny to watch him make a fool of himself.

Present Simple - Doing things always, often or sometimes
Dingen altijd, vaak of soms doen:

In de present simple gebruik je de basisvorm van het werkwoord:
  • I play...         You work…       They swim

Als je (he/she/it) gebruikt, moet je +s aan het werkwoord toevoegen.
  • He plays…    She jumps…     It kicks

Present Continuous - Doing things now
Dingen nu doen:
In de present continuous gebruik je am/is/are + een woord eindigend op -ing:


  • I am working.               
  • He/she/it is working. / The dog is running.
  • We are working. /  They are working.  /  You are working.

    Present Continuous - Talking about now or always: present simple or present continuous
    Voor dingen die vaak, altijd, soms of nooit gebeuren, gebruik je de present simple.
    Signaalwoorden: always, often, sometimes, never, every day enz.

    Als iets nu bezig is, dan gebruik je de present continuous.
    Signaalwoorden: at the moment, right now, now, today enz.
