In this Be Strong,

we practice talking about fake news 

by doing all kinds of exercises and games.

Rules

We speak and write English as much as we can.

we look at 2 videos about lying, 

we practise lying and spotting lies by playing a game

and

we play a Gimkit to practise our vocabulary.

Part 1

2 videos about lying.

A small exercise:

Hold up your dominant index finger. 

Now draw a capital Q on your forehead. 

Remember which way the little tail of the Q pointed, was it left or right?

Part 2

Now let's practise lying and spotting lies

by

playing a question game. 

How:

- Magister makes groups of three

- Each person gets three questions

- You read all 3 questions in your hands out loud 

- You answer the questions in your hands. Tell the truth twice and lie once.

- Your teammates have to guess which answer was false. 

- Keep score! You can win 2 points in every round (by spotting the lies of your classmates) and 1 point for telling a lie nobody spotted.
