Future Tenses

Er zijn verschillende manieren om te praten over de toekomst.

I'm going to play an important match today.

There will be sunshine this weekend.

Future Simple

Vorm	Gebruik	Example:
To be + (not) going to + hele werkwoord	Iets (niet) van plan zijn. '	Ronan is going to visit his grandparents next week.
To be (not) + Onderwerp + going to + hele werkwoord?	Voorspelling met bewijs	Look at those dark clouds. It is going to rain.

Future: to be going to

In het Nederlands gebruiken wij vaak 'gaan'

Future Simple

Vorm	Gebruik	Example:
Will (not*) + hele werkwoord	Iets aanbieden	I will do the dishes for you.
Will** + onderwerp + hele werkwoord?	Beloftes	I will call you soon, I promise.
	Aankondigingen	Stacy will arrive at 2 o'clock.
	Besluiten	We will go to your place then.
	Voorspellingen zonder bewijs	I think, the corona virus will go away soon.

Future: will

* = je kan will not afkorten tot won't

** = bij I en we gebruikten we shall i.p.v. will.

2. Is het een voorspelling met bewijs?
Ja -> to be going to

Nee -> will

3. Controleer of het will is ( is het een aanbod, belofte, aankondiging, besluit of een voorspelling zonder bewijs?)
