Wat hebben deze zinnen met elkaar gemeen?

1. I am going to work hard today!

Kijk maar:

• I am going to work hard today!
• She is going to do her homework tonight. 
• We are going to watch a movie on Friday. 
• It is going to rain. 

Wat is het verschil tussen:
I am working at the moment.
I work every Monday.

Future tense met 'to be going to':

Je gebruikt 'to be + going to' + hele ww om aan te geven dat iets in de toekomst gaat gebeuren als:

• je iets van plan bent. (Voornemen)
• er iets van tevoren gepland is.
• of je bewijs heb voor iets dat zéker gaat gebeuren, 

Let op!:

Je gebruikt een vorm van 'to be'. 

Deze wordt altijd aangepast aan het onderwerp. 

• I  AM going to + hele ww
• He / she / it  IS going to + hele ww
• You / we / they  ARE going to + hele ww

• Ontkennende (-) zin: am not, is not (isn't), are not (aren't).
• Vragende zin (?): begint met am, are of is. 

To be + going to + verb

I am going to go

You are going to walk

He is going to sleep

She is going to work

It is going to rain

We are going to play

They are going to eat

I am working at the moment.

Ik ben aan het werk op dit moment.

(= nu bezig)

I work every Monday.

Ik werk elke maandag.

(= gewoonte, niet nu aan de gang)
