Wanneer gebruik je een apostrof?

1. Soms worden er letters weggelaten, en komt er een apostrof.

Bijv. des middags -> 's middags (LET OP: aan het begin van de zin krijg de 's geen hoofdletter)

2. In het meervoud gebruik je na de a o i u y een apostrof. 

Bijv. lama's, hobby's, taxi's

3. Bij een bezit van iemand, dan na de a o i u y een apostrof. 
Bijv. Emma's boek, Harry's etui

4. Eindigt een naam op een s of klinkt de laatste letter als een s, dan alleen een apostrof. 

Bijv. Els' tas, Jax' telefoon
