The Roman Games were a way for the Romans to escape the troubles of daily life. 

Romans would go to the amphiteatre and watch gruelsome battles or 'games' for their entertainment.

Questions you need to answer when writing about the origin are:
- who is the author/maker of this source?
- where does this source come from? 
- when was it published/made?
