Goals of today

At the end of the lesson, you will be able to correctly use articles 'a/an'.

Articles 'a' and 'an' are used to introduce a noun for the first time. 

Explanation

• Exceptions: Use 'an' before words starting with a vowel sound.

• What are vowel sounds? 
• a-e-u-i-o

• Example: She is an honest person.

Plural Nouns

Plural nouns refer to more than one person, place, thing, or idea. 

Examples
