What is your dream job(s)?

Name as many positive qualities a person can have

Preparation

Take 5 minutes to write key words about your hobbies, qualities and skills you have which fit with your dream jobs (choose two)

You will do this by yourself in silence

If you have a question you can ask your neighbor by whispering

Done? Wait for instructions on the speaking exercise (in silence!)

Applying for your dream job

• One of you is going to be the interviewer. You will listen to the other person and ask questions if you have them.

• The other person will talk to the interviewer about why are the perfect candidate for their dream job.

• You have to speak for at least 2 minutes. If you are done exchange roles

• You will each have this conversation twice, so you will talk about two of your dream jobs.

Applying for your dream job

For two minutes tell the interviewer the following things:

• What is your name and age

• What is your dream job and why?

• What are your hobbies

• What makes you a suitable candidate for this job. Name three of your qualities/skills. Convince them why you are the best choice for the job
  

• Ask if the interviewer needs more information

• End the conversation (the interviewer could let you know if they would hire you)
