Introduction to Unit 10 (15 min)

• In two minutes, brainstorm as many possible words related to the words 'crime' and 'criminal'.
• Look at the picture and exercise a on SB p. 97.
  Use the following phrases to express your ideas: "It looks like...", "It/He might be...", "It seems as if...". Review with teacher.
• In pairs, do exercise b and c on SB p. 97. 
  Use the structure "I'd..."/"I would...".
• Discuss: tell your partners about a recent news story. What happened, when did it happen, and where did it happen?

Speaking activity, SB p. 98 (15 min)

• What's a "moral dilemma"?
• Make a list of rules or laws that you need to follow in Australia. Which ones do you think are fair and which ones not? Discuss.
• Do exercise 1 together with the teacher.
