Introduction to Unit 10 (15 min)
  • In two minutes, brainstorm as many possible words related to the words 'crime' and 'criminal'.
  • Look at the picture and exercise a on SB p. 97.
    Use the following phrases to express your ideas: "It looks like...", "It/He might be...", "It seems as if...". Review with teacher.
  • In pairs, do exercise b and c on SB p. 97. 
    Use the structure "I'd..."/"I would...".
  • Discuss: tell your partners about a recent news story. What happened, when did it happen, and where did it happen?
