Tackling difficult words (IV)
You don’t always have to understand all the English words to be able to understand an audio file. Sometimes while you’re listening or reading, you hear difficult words that help you to get the information you need. If that happens, you should see if you can (1) recognise a Dutch word, (2) recognise a word from another language, (3) recognise part of the word, or (4) use the context the word is used in to find the meaning.
