Hulpwerkwoorden
should = zou moeten (advies)
must = moeten (dwingender)

have/has to = iets moet van iemand anders

Ze betekenen dus allemaal "moeten" maar allemaal met een klein verschil.

Vorm: should + hele werkwoord

Jij vindt dat iets (niet) zou moeten.

Je geeft een advies.
Je raadt iets af.

= moeten

Vorm: must + hele werkwoord

Jij vindt dat iets (niet) moet. (krachtiger dan should)

Het is heel belangrijk, het kan niet anders of het is verplicht.


VOORBEELDEN

HAVE/HAS TO
= moeten

Vorm: has/have to + hele werkwoord

Iets moet van iemand anders, niet van jou.
Bijvoorbeeld:
- regels (werk, ouders, etc.)
- wetten
- afspraken
VOORBEELDEN

Mum says I have to do the dishes.
(Moet van je moeder)

I have to hand in this essay today. 
(Moet van de docent)

You have to be 18 years to drink alcohol. (wet)

Dad has to wear a uniform to work.

Als je have to in ontkennende zinnen gebruikt, dan verandert de betekenis van 'moeten' in 'niet hoeven'.
