Mistake: Incorrect capitalization of “i” instead of “I”. 

Solution: Don ´t forget to capitalize “I” regardless of the position in the sentence.

For instance: I would like to tell you that I took up a new hobby.

 1. "Tom's car" instead of "Toms car" (without the apostrophe when it’s simply plural).

Mistake 2 - Spelling mistakes 
2. "Than" instead of "then." 

Than = used for comparisons (e.g., "I am taller than him.")
Then = referring to time (e.g., "We will go to the store then.")

Its = possessive - bezitvorm (e.g., "The cat chased its tail.")
It's = contraction of "it is" (e.g., "It's raining outside.")

4. "Their" instead of "there," or "they're" instead of "there."
Correction:
There = a place or location (e.g., "We are going there tomorrow.")
Their = possessive - bezitvorm (e.g., "This is their house.")
They’re = contraction of "they are" (e.g., "They’re going to the party.")

Mistake 2 - Spelling mistakes 
5. Mixing up "your" and "you're"
Mistake: "Your" instead of "you're," or vice versa.
Correction:
Your = possessive - bezittelijk voornaamwoord (e.g., "Is this your pen?")
You're = contraction of "you are" (e.g., "You're my best friend.")

Mistake 3 - Wrong punctuation

Mistake: Missing punctuation or using excessive punctuation (e.g., “How are you???” or “I’m fine!!!”).
Solution: Use punctuation appropriately—one question mark or exclamation mark is enough otherwise it can come off as overly dramatic.
