Future perfect + future continous

Future perfect

Future = toekomst

perfect =  voltooid deewoord gebruiken

Future perfect:

used to talk about something that will be completed before a specific time in the future

will have + volt. deelwoord

examples

I will have passed my exams before I go to college.

By five o'clock they will have finished their homework.

Dad will have cooked dinner when we get home. 

Important:

Know your irregular verbs!

Especially 3rd form

Future continuous

Future = toekomst

continuous = ww+ ing gebruiken

Future continuous:

used to talk about :

future events that go on for a longer period of time

 future events that will be going on at a specific time

shall/will + be + verb+ing

examples:

This time next month, I will be cycling through Belgium.

We will be staying in New York next summer. 

I will still be working at 10 o'clock tonight!

Bring your book to school on Friday 11 March

Make sure your book:

• is interesting
• is not too difficult
• but not too easy 

The five finger test

Find out if a book is too difficult for you:

• Read 1 page
• Before you start reading raise 5 fingers
• Put one finger down every time you come across a word you don't know

 All fingers down by the end of the page? -> too difficult

Three or less down -> the book is okay for you

Where can I find a book?

• The library --> ask for the books you like
• Ask friends and family
• buy one 
• Black birds
