Is er een naam bekend aan wie je schrijft? Dan gebruik je de volgende opties:

• Dear mr [achternaam]
• Dear ms [achternaam] = ongetrouwde vrouw
• Dear mrs [achternaam] = getrouwde vrouw
• Dear ms [achternaam] = geen idee of de vrouw getrouwd is

Schrijf:

• Wie je bent
• De hoofdreden waarom je schrijft

Geef:

• extra informatie die nodig is voor de ontvanger (=meer informatie die de ontvanger moet gebruiken in zijn/haar antwoord aan jou)

Benoem:

• opnieuw benoemen waarom je schrijft (kort samengevat)
• geef aan dat je snel op een reactie terug hoopt.

• Geen achternaam gebruikt in de aanhef? > Yours faithfully,

• Drie schrijf opdrachten (normaliter 2 mails, 1 formulier + korte schriftelijke toevoeging)

Hoe word beoordeeld A2/B1?

• Over het gemiddelde genomen (alle drie de opdrachten) 80% gerealiseerd?
• Volledig in het Engels?
• Nakijken gebeurd op de volgende vlakken:
  > samenhang
  > bereik en beheersing van de woordenschat
  > grammaticale correctheid
  > spelling, interpunctie en lay-out
  > afstemming op de doelgroep

Step 1

First, team up with one or two classmates and discuss what kind of festival you would like to invent. Then, fill in the table below for your festival.

Step 2

Individually, using the table that you have filled in together, write a short text (200-225 words) on your own about your festival. Include all the information from the table and make sure you try to persuade (NL: overhalen) your readers this is a must-see event! Use the descriptions of the winter festivals you read earlier as an example.
