Spelling verandert als het bijvoeglijk naamwoord eindigt op:

terrible  >  terribly           possible  >  possibly

• -le  >  wordt -ly

angry  >  angrily       easy  >  easily

• -ic   >   komt -ally achter

fantastic  >  fantastically       optimistic  >  optimistically
