For thousands of years humans lived from
hunting animals
and
gathering fruits and vegetables
. This way of life is called:
hunter-gathering
.
Hunter-gatherers were
nomads
: they moved from place to place, following the animals they hunted.
They lived in small groups, between 20 - 30 people.
