WHAT TO EXPECT?

The LessonUp Academy is a place where you can learn more about working with LessonUp. Additionally, we also cover topics that you encounter during your daily work as an educator. These include student motivation, lesson design, differentiation, and formative assessment.

The LessonUp Academy is divided into 3 levels. You can start at any level:
  • Beginner
  • Intermediate
  • Expert

BUT FIRST: LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

Welcome to the LessonUp Academy! My name is Esmée. We have launched this Academy in response to educators' demand for a centralised platform where they can access LessonUp instructions, education tips, and practical examples. We are excited to receive your input and hear your thoughts on it!
Great to have you here! My name is Iris. I have a passion for creatively engaging with educational materials. During my day-to-day work, I assist our content partners (channels) in developing their lessons. In the Academy, you will come across some lessons I created. Make sure to save them to your account. Enjoy your time!
Hi there! My name is Joy. You might recognise me from the support chat or email. I engage with teachers on a daily basis, providing them with assistance using LessonUp. Helping people is my passion, and it brings me great satisfaction. Hopefully, I can also assist you further within the Academy!

WHERE SHOULD I START?

New to LessonUp?
Welcome! We recommend starting at the 'Beginner' level to learn more about the platform before diving deeper. You can choose which topics you want to learn more about, and set your own ideal pace.

Already familiar with LessonUp?
Great to witness your enthusiasm for learning! If you already understand the basics of the platform, we recommend starting at the 'Intermediate' level, and selecting the topics that you want to dive into.

🌱 Beginner

As a beginner, you will learn what LessonUp is, how it works, and you will create your first interactive lesson within LessonUp. Additionally, you will learn about the platform's key functionalities, including the use of interactive elements, finding and using (others') teaching materials, various teaching methods, and how to track student progress.

🌷 advanced

If you have already created and delivered lessons within LessonUp, you can consider yourself an expert. At this level, we will help you create even more engaging lessons! We will cover topics such as classroom management, digital assessments, and differentiation. Expand your expertise concerning LessonUp, and take your lessons to the next level with more advanced topics.

🌳 expert

As an Expert, we assume that you have already used all the functionalities within LessonUp. We will explore engaging learning techniques and the use of gamification in your lessons through examples, and step-by-step explanations on how to implement them. We will also cover topics such as formative assessment and maintaining a student portfolio. Deepen your knowledge and skills by diving into topics that create a more dynamic and interactive LessonUp learning experience.
